Morgan's Open House
We got to go to the Briarwood Elementary Open House tonight to meet Morgan's teacher for preschool this year. Ms. Wallin was really nice and Morgan seemed to really like her. Morgan will be in the afternoon session from 12-3:15pm. She is quite excited to be starting "Preschool School" as she calls it. She has had her first day of school outfit picked out for weeks. She centered he entire outfit around a pair of "purple shiny shoes". Stay tuned later in the week for pics from the Morgan's first day of school and her getting on the bus.

Morgan & Braden
I took Morgan home to Owensboro this past Saturday to visit her Nene & Pappa. While we were in town, we finally got to visit my friends Amber & Jill and their new beautiful baby boy Braden. Morgan had such a blast, she just wanted to love all over him! I was surprised that she was not begging to hold him right away...but she finally did ask. So I figured why not share the picture with you. I think this is the first time that I have ever looked at a picture of Morgan and thought "Wow! She looks so BIG!"
By the way, Morgan had her four year shots last Friday...it was a hugh ordeal! But I finally saw her growth chart for the first time in about 3.5 years. Morgan has never really registered on those things so her doctors gave up bragging about them. When she was about 6months, I was told that she was in the 5th percentile for her height and of the 5% that were her height, she was in the 5th percentile for her weight. Well Friday...my petite little girl finally hit 25th percentile for height and 20th percentile for her weight on the standard charts! That was a very proud moment for me!

Morgan is "4"
My baby is 4 years old! At times it seems like it is about time, and other times I just want to cuddle her up in my lap and snuggle her up until I feel like she is my little baby again. She has grown into such a sweet young lady...with a devilish twist to her attitude. She is definitely learning how to push our buttons! On Friday when it was time for Morgan to get dress for her big day, she picked out a purple frilly flowered dress (so definitely has girlie girl tendencies)! Then when I started to comb out her hair since she ALWAYS wants to wear it down, she told me I needed to put it up for her since she was a big girl now!
Finally getting this blog under way!
So I am finally getting this blog underway. I actually set this page up over a year ago, and never did anything with it. I guess it is about time, since Derrell and I have decided to start working on expanding our family. We began this adventure of creating the next addition to our Stokes clan this past February. Three cycles now have gone by and no such luck...yet! We will not be deterred, and we continue to have lots of fun with the trying!
